TOURS

The Australian Boys Choir conducts regular international, national and regional tours. Touring is one of the most exciting Choir experiences for our Performing Squad. It is the culmination of many years of musical training. It is also made possible through the development of independence and ‘life skills’, as learnt through attending the Choir’s biannual Weekend workshops and residential Summer Schools each year.

Repertoire for tours is carefully selected to showcase Australia's exceptional choral composers and the harmonic and musical mastery of Australia’s ‘first and finest’ boys’ choir. National and regional tours prepare the Performing Squad for the rigours of international tours while also allowing the choir to reach regional audiences, especially children, and provide access to world class performances.

Workshops and performing with other choirs are highlights of the touring experience for our choristers. The shared language of music creates fond memories of workshops and tours that stay with the boys a lifetime!

Excellence is... a shared journey
