Presented by Australian Boys Choral Institute

Saturday 16 March 2024 at 3:00pm - 4:30pm
Christ Church Cathedral Ballarat | 49 Lydiard Street South VIC 3350

Vibrant voices come together in this exciting opening program of the Australian Boys Choral Institute's 85th Anniversary Season, conducted by ABCI artistic director Nicholas Dinopoulos.

Headlined by the outstanding singers of The Vocal Consort, with the group itself also celebrating 40 years in 2024, singers on stage will also include the Australian Boys Choir plus guest artists Ballarat Voices and pianist Zachary Hamilton-Russell.

This concert takes its title from debut CD release "Sweet & Low" from 2001 by The Vocal Consort, and presents some of the ensemble's classic repertoire alongside new audience favourites.

  • Doors open at 2:30pm, concert starts at 3:00pm sharp. This performance has one interval of 15 minutes. Latecomers will not be permitted until a suitable break in the performance.
  • No photography or videographers permitted, audience members should note this performance is being recorded.
  • Our repeat Melbourne performance will also be live-streamed via Australian Digital Concert Hall. For more information and digital ticket access available world-wide, please see the ADCH website.
