Presented by Australian Boys Choral Institute and Sacred Heart Cathedral

Saturday 19 August 2023 at 3:00pm - 4:30pm

The Australian Boys Choir continues their 2023 season with this concert of choral classics. Singers on stage will include Bendigo's Sacred Heart Cathedral Choir, as well as the outstanding voices of The Vocal Consort.

From the sparkling motet 'Lobet den Herrn' by J.S. Bach to works by Byrd, Michael Haydn, Mendelssohn and Australia's own Dulcie Holland and Joseph Twist, this concert will conclude with a rousing massed performance of the famous Widor Toccata for voices and grand organ.

  • Doors open at 2:30pm, concert starts at 3:00pm sharp. This performance has one interval of 15 minutes. Latecomers will not be permitted until a suitable break in the performance.
  • No photography or videographers permitted, audience members should note this performance is being recorded.
  • Our repeat Melbourne performance will also be live-streamed via the Australian Digital Concert Hall. For more information and digital ticket access available world-wide, please see the ADCH website.
